Thesispresentatie 'The potential of food forests in the temperate climate'

Dear reader,

We are pleased to announce that we will be presenting our thesis research to you on July 4^th from 19.15 – 21.30 in the Deel at HAS University of applied sciences.

During the evening,

• Daan Groot will give a presentation about innovative entrepreneurship in rural areas
• Stichting Voedselbosbouw Nederland will introduce the food forest phenomenon
• Stichting Phien will introduce what self-sufficiency is and how food forests relate to this
  

After these, we will present our research on ‘What could be a successful business case for a temperate climate food forest?’. In this research, we analysed what the potential is for food forests in the Dutch climate, how stichting Phien and stichting Voedselbosbouw Nederland use this potantial and how they compare to our current agri-food system. We will conclude the presentation with how the principles of a food forest can be applied on individual farm level.

We expect to finish the presentations around 21.00, after which there is time for questions and discussion. After the questions and discussion, you are invited to join us for a networking drink.
